Frances Grace Salog of Fort Gratiot, formerly of Livonia, died December 4, 2015, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Detroit to the late John and Catherine Szelog. She retired as head secretary for United States Steel in Detroit.
Frances is survived by her brother John Szelog; sister, Marie Saunders; nephews and nieces, John Paul (Martha) Szelog, Linda (Ted Jr.) Kearns, David Szelog, Susan Szelog, Michael Bourbonais, Patrick (Melanie) Bourbonais, Erin Cole, David (Antionette) Szelog, Karen McGraw and Mary Kay (Joel) Taylor; many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Szelog and sisters, Helen Toole, Josephine Aitken and Julia Salog.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Philip Neri Church, Columbus with visiting from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Father Joseph Horn will officiate.
Inurnment will follow at the St. Philip Neri Cemetery.
