Mary E. McLaughlin, 98, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital.
She was born January 24, 1917 in Orient, IL to the late William and Millie Lehmbeck. She married Capt. Frank D. McLaughlin. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1982.
Mary was a past president, secretary and treasurer of the International Shipmasters Association Auxiliary, belonging since 1956. She was also a past president of Grandview Tower Association. Mary was active with the Senior Citizens Center and played piano with the Senior Citizen Orchestra from 1984-1999.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Brenda) McLaughlin and Kevin (Gayle) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Dale Reichle, Douglas Reichle, Francis (Rose) McLaughlin, Erin (Jeff) Eastman, Megan (Jim) Cottone and Matthew (Chelsea) McLaughlin; 11 great grandchildren and a special nephew William L. (Shirley) Lehmbeck,
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Reichle.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with visiting from 10 a.m. until the service time The Rev. Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
