Allan Cook, Sr.

Allan R. Cook, Sr., 67, died Thursday,

November 5, 2009 in Port Huron Hospital following a short illness.

He was born January 22, 1942 in

Bridgehampton Twp. in Sanilac County. He married Carole D. Pearson

on August 9, 1963 in Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Allan worked at American Tape for 44

years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife Carole D.

Cook; sons, Allan Jr. (Sue) Cook and Jeff (Kristi) Cook; 7

grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings, Harold (Joan) Cook,

Eletha (Don) Thibodeau, Ted (Judy) Cook and Orlan (Shirley)

Borgerson; brother-in-law, Don Chidester.

He is preceded in death by his

parents, Clifford and Pearl Cook and his sister, Georgina Chidester.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m.

Tuesday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald R.

Doerzbacher, Pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Monday.
