Kirk P Gall
Kirk P. Gall, 57, of Fort Gratiot Township, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.
He was born August 1, 1959 in Sarnia, Ontario to the late George T. and Helen L. Gall.
Kirk was a graduate of Port Huron Central High School and Oakland University. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and past commodore and treasurer of the Black River Boat Club. After his retirement, he volunteered within the church, various organizations and helped anyone who was in need.
He loved boating, barbequing and traveling with his friends.
He is survived by his sister, Peggy Denney; his niece, Michelle Denney; his two great nephews, Tyler and Andrew Denney; his uncle, Tom (Helen) Burns; his three cousins, Jim (Gwen) Burns, Mary Lou (Mike) Makowski and Kathy (Dan) Conrad; and Ron Lowe, whom he had the pleasure of mentoring for many years. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Bea St. Dennis.
Visitation will be 2–4 and 7–9 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2016 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Mr. Gall will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016, at Holy Trinity Parish – St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Reverend Salvatore Palazzolo will officiate.
The Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Parish – St. Stephen Catholic Church or Alzheimer’s Association.
