Shirley A Lynch

Shirley Ann Lynch, 81, of Port Huron, died Saturday, August 27, 2016.

She was born September 9, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Clarence Spencer and Virginia M. Moak. She married Mark T. Lynch on July 11, 1963 in St. Stephen Catholic Church. He died February 23, 2001.

Shirley was employed as a nurse’s aide at Marwood Nursing and Rehab for 22 years, retiring in 2001. She loved to read and play cards, but most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Shawn (Sally) Lynch, Annette Lynch, Kim (Scott) Scandalito, Jim Lynch (Sue TenBrink); grandchildren, Nicole (Jake) Hutchinson, Hillary Scandalito, Brad (Emma) Lynch, Meghan Scandalito, Ian Lynch and Corey Lynch; great grandchildren, Elliott and Khaleesi; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maryanne Lynch; and great grandson, Ayden Scandalito in 2012.

Family graveside services will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice or the Make a Wish Foundation.
