Barbara J. Hisscock

Barbara Jeanne (Yeager) Hisscock, 69, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on Saturday, January 28, 2017.

She was born on February 12, 1947, in Port Huron to Russell and Albertina Yeager and has lived in Port Huron all of her life. Barbara married C. Gerald (Jerry) Hisscock on April 22, 1967, at First United Methodist Church in Port Huron.

Barbara was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grammy.

She was loved dearly and will be missed by her many family members and friends.

She is survived by her husband Jerry; two children, Dr. Russell Hisscock (Paul Piper) and Laura (Jeff) Mayer; three grandchildren, Ryan, Brady and Miranda; her mother, Albertina J. Yeager; three sisters, Marilyn (Jack) Tipa, Janet Yeager and Judy Yeager. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Yeager.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, in First United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Reverend William Wright will officiate.

Family members to attend burial in Lakeside Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church Mortgage Pay Down Fund or Blue Water Hospice.
