Kenneth J Kongas

Kenneth John Kongas, 55, of Port Huron, died Monday, February 20, 2017, following a long illness.

He was born November 8, 1961 in Port Huron, to the late Peter Allan and Noreen Kongas.

Kenneth was a lifelong area resident and enjoyed fishing, music and was very active in the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by his siblings, Ruthann (Bill) McKenzie, Paul (Karen) Kongas, Marjorie (Daniel) Monahan, Diane Leenknegt, Mary (Mike) Reilly, Patricia (Harold) Smith, Peter (Janice) Kongas; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended Simpson Road family.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 in Holy Trinity Parish - St. Joseph Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Salvatore Palazzolo will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
