Joyce Dresser

Joyce Elaine Horn Dresser, 80, of North Street, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017.

She was born March 30, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Ray and Beatrice Horn.

Joyce grew up on her parents’ farm in North Street. She worked many years at Port Huron Hospital and Marwood Manor. She loved to garden and grew her own vegetables each year, sharing with family and friends.

Joyce will be dearly missed by her family. She is survived by her sons, Timothy (Nichole) Dresser and David Dresser, both of North Street; ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two special nieces, Kay Durham of Marion, Illinois and Diane Horn of Fort Gratiot; and special friend, Marcella Cook of Fort Gratiot. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Horn.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:30 pm. Mr. Dale Privette will officiate. Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery.
