Lois A Gerber

Lois Ann Gerber, 70, of Jeddo, died Thursday, May 11, 2017.

She was born April 29, 1947 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Farmer and Edith Wells. She married Donald H. Gerber on December 7, 2001 in Port Huron.

Lois enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and planting flowers. She was an awesome cook who loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Gerber; daughter, Tammy (Brian) Mellert; son, Don (Becky) McFarland; grandchildren, Ryan, Amanda and Adam; step-children, Margaret (Michael) Pifer, Cori (Scott) Krohn, Charlie (Amie) Jakubiak; step daughter-in-law, Barbara Gerber; step grandchildren, Nick, Madison, Maggie, Eden, Jordan, Lacey, Rachel, Michael, Andrew, Lindsay and Kelly; step great granddaughter, Quinn; and sisters, Thelma (Tom) Wells, Linda (Bobby) Means and Loretta (Herndon) Hobbs. She was preceded in death by her step-son, Donald; and husband, William Jakubiak.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Reverend Marvin McCullum will officiate. Burial will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
