Barbara C. Fenner

Port Huron- Barbara Catherine Fenner died Tuesday April 6 th , 2010 at the age of 84. She was born December 13, 1925 the daughter of John and Emma (McEachin) Jansen. Barbara graduated from St. Stephens High School in 1943, and worked at Port Huron Paper before marrying William Fenner in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a founding benefactor of St. Marys Church, and was active in church functions. She was an accomplished bridge player, and organized club activities.

Barbara is survived by daughters Trish (Floyd) Slotterback, and Jamie (Dan) Callahan, and one son Rob Fenner. Grandchildren, Daniel, Emily and Michael Armstrong, Michael, Tim, Maggie and Molly Callahan. She was preceded in death by four brothers: John, Joe, Don and Charlie; and one sister Mary.

Their will be a special viewing Saturday, April 10 th from 9:30am to 11am at St. Marys Church in Port Huron. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11am. The Funeral Mass will be said by Father George Askar. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. A reception will be held, and will be announced after the Mass.
