Robert M. Logan
Robert Martin Logan, 85, of Smiths Creek, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 23, 1932 in Capac to the late Orville and Hilda Logan. He married Agnes Patricia Sopha on October 17, 1952. She preceded him in death on June 21, 1998.
Robert was a United States Navy veteran, having served from 1952 to 1956 in Norfolk, Virginia.
He was employed at Mueller Brass Company, retiring after 44½ years of service.
He is survived by his special friend, Leilaniaie Himmel; three daughters, Patricia (David) Thiel, Robin (Randy) Avers, Lonnie Logan; two sons-in-law, Tim Jones and Kurt Utley; seven grandchildren, Seth (Roberta) Jones, Melissa (Jerry) Salazar, Amanda (Charles) Whitmore, Paul Schultz, Robert Avers, Joshua (Erin) Schultz and Rachel (Steve) Gabriau; 11 great-grandchildren, Kyle and Camrynn Collinge, Kurtis and Justin Miller, Emily Salazar, Taryn and Danica Whitmore, Rohan and Freya Schultz and Mason and Owen Gabriau; special friends, Bill Navarre, Fred Bennett; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes; and his daughter, Kim Jones.
A private memorial service will be held with inurnment to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
