Rosemary L Gorski

Rosemary Louise Gorski, 91, of Port Huron, died Friday, February 9, 2018.

She was born December 21, 1926 in Buffalo New York, to the late John and Blanche Brennan. She married Casimer J. Gorski and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1994.

Rosemary was a graduate of Yale High School and had attended Port Huron School of Business. She was employed at Michigan National Bank as an executive secretary until she started her family.

She was a founding member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Port Huron, where she volunteered for many years.

Rosemary also volunteered at Mercy Hospital with the Fifty-Five Plus Committee helping seniors. For recreation she enjoyed playing the organ and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her four children, Mary Jane Zauner, Carole (Rick) Hillock, Steven (Karen) Gorski and Sharon (David) Swarts; her grandchildren, Andrea (Jason) Morden, Angela Zauner, Cory (Jessica) Hillock, Cari (Cameron) Rucks, Steven (Serena) Gorski, Megan (Trent) Martin’ka, Sarah Gorski, Eric Swarts and Jessica Swarts; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Betty Ann Winkler and Bert Beausir.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
