Carol A Nichol
Carol A. Nichol, 74, of Port Huron, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 14, 1943 in Riley Center, to the late Shirley and Lavyonne McNutt. She married Alvin Nichol on September 9, 1961 in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Port Huron.
Carol touched many lives over the years as she worked with the public all of her life. She was the lady that would ask “what can I help you find?” at the local pharmacy. When she wasn’t working, she loved spending time with her family, fixing delicious meals, feeding the birds, or working in her flower gardens. She also loved traveling and going to casinos with her husband. She was a devoted wife, mother, nana, and friend to all who knew her and many that considered her their second mom.
Carol is survived by her loving husband Al; her three children, Chris (Scott) McNutt, Dan (Cathy) Nichol and Melissa (Mike) Heck. She will be missed by her grandchildren that she adored - Steven, Maryanne, Amy, Joey and Julianne. She is also survived by her aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald McNutt.
