Lois F McPhail

Lois Frances (Hall) McPhail, 87, of Fort Gratiot, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was a delight to be with and her last day to make people smile was Wednesday, February 21, 2018.

Lois was born June 30, 1930 in Detroit to the late Millard and Margaret (Draper) Hall.

She was a secretary for over 30 years to a variety of insurance companies.

She was an avid member of the Woman’s Association of First Congregational Church in Port Huron. She also enjoyed a good novel and playing bridge.

She is survived by four children, Karen (David) Hitz, Marcia Roesch, Kenneth McPhail Jr., and Scott McPhail; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Hall.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 in First Congregational Church. The Reverend Guy Lynch will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family prefers that memorials be made to First Congregational Church.
