Thomas Crimmins
Thomas M. Crimmins, 82, of Port Huron, died Sunday, April 1, 2018.
He was born April 9, 1935 in Port Huron to the late John and Mattie Crimmins. He married Joan P. McCaskill on November 30, 1957 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Port Huron.
Thomas was a 1953 graduate of St. Stephen Catholic High School and a graduate of Port Huron Junior Business College. He served in the United States Army and retired from Michigan National Bank as an auditor.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #521. He enjoyed playing euchre, bowling and softball.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; five children, Mary (Tom) Gleason, Colleen Crimmins, Cathy (Dennis) Reed, Daniel Crimmins and Trish (Hunter) Dancey; eight grandchildren, Laura Gleason, Matthew Gleason, Michael (Racheal) Reed, Nicholas Reed, Danielle Crimmins, Haley Crimmins, Megan Cravens and Erin Cravens; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Crimmins and Mary Rita Gierman. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Donald, Edward, Jack, William and James Crimmins; and sister, Sr. Mary Elizabeth Crimmins, O.P.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
Mr. Crimmins will lie in state at Holy Trinity Parish - St. Joseph Catholic Church Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. The Very Reverend Salvatore Palazzolo, K.H.S. and Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Parish - St. Joseph Catholic Church.
