Milo F. Schill
Milo Franklin Schill, 82, of Silver Springs, FL, died Saturday, April 14, 2018.
He was born January 17, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Milo Frederick and Bessie M. Schill.
Mr. Schill served 36 years as a deputy sheriff and was the first reserve officer in Lucas County, Ohio. He retired from the Schindler Elevator Corporation after 35 years of service.
He was a member of Ocala Forest Florida Moose Lodge #2535 and the Ocala Forest Aerie #4216 Fraternal Order of Eagles of Silver Springs, Florida. He loved fishing, boating, deer hunting, shooting and long drives, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family at his summer home.
He is survived by his three children, James (Penny) Schill, David (Patricia) Schill and LaVonne (Jeff) Mechan; five grandchildren, Jefferey Schill, Lori Schill, Lindsey Schill, Dylan Schill and David Schill Jr.; six great-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his companion of 18 years, Leona Pelham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Schill; daughter, Joyce D. Schill; and son, Richard L. Schill.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, 4210 West Central Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43606.
