Robert J Lewandowski

Robert John “Bob” Lewandowski, 47, of Port Huron died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 as the result of a boating accident.

He was born April 18, 1971 in Detroit to Karen Lewandowski and the late Thaddeus Lewandowski. He married the love of his life, Melissa Misener on May 23, 2008 in Siesta Key, Florida.

Bob was a 1989 graduate of Port Huron High School. He worked at Intertape Polymer Group. He enjoyed playing ball, boating, snowmobiling, camping, bonfires, and get togethers with friends and family. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to sporting events. He loved spending time and doing fun things with his boys and enjoyed helping coach his son Connor’s baseball team. Above all, Bob loved being a husband and father.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Melissa; sons, Connor and Cooper Lewandowski; step-daughter, Brittany McDonnell; mother, Karen (Tom) Trisch; brothers, Dave (Marcy) Lewandowski and Ed Lewandowski; nephew, Ryan Lewandowski; sister-in-law, Angel Misener; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Thaddeus “Ted” Lewandowski and mother-in-law, Ila Misener.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in the funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, June 11, 2018 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. The Reverend Nate Neihoff will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Melissa Lewandowski, for an education fund to be established for his sons.
