Anna T. Kelly

Anna Theresa Kelly, 84, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

She was born February 7, 1934 in Dublin, Ontario Canada to the late Joseph and Ellen Feeney. She married John D. “Jack” Kelly on October 17, 1964 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2012.

Anna was employed as a telephone operator with Michigan Bell and served as a trustee for Fort Gratiot Township.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering, playing cards every Thursday at Palmer Park and was a member of the Scrabble Club, playing every second Tuesday.

She is survived by her children, Judy Cotterill and Curtis (Denise) Cotterill of Ontario; two grandchildren, Rachel (Alex) Geadah and Todd Cotterill; three great-grandchildren, Brady and Tyson Cotterill and Elias Geadah; one sister, Mary Ellen Kelly of Ontario; two sisters-in-law, Agnes Gaffney and Marion Kelly; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rose Gardner of Kimball. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Tom and Jim Feeney.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Kelly will lie in state at St. Mary Catholic Church Monday, July 9, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. The Very Reverend Salvatore Palazzolo, K.H.S.

Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or St. Vincent de Paul.
