Joyce M Tallmadge

Joyce Marie Tallmadge, 77, of Port Huron, died Thursday, July 26, 2018.

She was born October 1, 1940 in Port Huron to the late John W. and Ann B. Shank. She married Keith L. Tallmadge on December 22, 1961 in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Joyce was a 1957 graduate of St. Stephen High School and worked as a secretary in the Port Huron Area School District for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was an avid University of Michigan football fan.

She enjoyed knitting, sewing and loved going to Curves.

She is survived by her husband, Keith L. Tallmadge; five children, Scott Tallmadge, Jeffrey (Suzanne) Tallmadge, Anne (Randolph) Richter, Tracy Tallmadge and Elizabeth (John) Von Allmen; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Nicholas) Andreone, Tracy J. Tallmadge, Andrew Tallmadge, Sarah Richter, Erica Richter, Ryan Tallmadge and Jack Von Allmen; two siblings, Carol Eveningred and Tom (Nancy) Shank. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith A. Shank.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church with visiting from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.
