Nancy A Bonney

Nancy Ann Bonney, 60, of Port Huron, died Friday, August 3, 2018.

She was born July 20, 1958 in Port Huron to Ida M. and the late Thomas J. Bonney.

Nancy was a 1976 graduate of Port Huron Northern High School. She was employed as a union representative for AT&T until her retirement in 2013. She had previously worked for Moore & Povenz Insurance and currently worked part-time at the concession stand at McMorran Auditorium.

Nancy enjoyed bowling, going to casinos, traveling and being by the water.

She is survived by her mother, Ida M. Bonney and her sister Judy Bonney. Nancy leaves behind several aunts, close cousins along with many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas J. Bonney; grandparents, Harry and Gertrude Bonney Sr., Isaac and Berneace Hillock; aunts, Sr. Marie Bonney O.P., Irene Bonney and Wanetah Bonney; uncles, Richard Moses Sr., Bernie Hillock Sr., Richard, Harry, Bernard and Charles Bonney; her good friend, Brian Nichols.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Nancy will lie in state at St. Mary Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. The Rite of Christian Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society or St. Mary Catholic Church.
