Jo Ann Odgers Bartow, 68, died Monday, November 22, 2010 in Marwood Nursing and Rehab following a long illness.
She was born May 10, 1942 in Kenosha, WI.
She was a supporter of culture and the arts. She loved the symphony and all forms of music. One of her favorite charities was the Lincoln Park Zoo.
She is survived by her brother, Richard E. (Mary Kay) Odgers of Fort Gratiot; niece, Susan (Marinko) Kondic of Oxford, CT; nephew, Rick Odgers of Minneapolis, MN; great nieces and nephew, Madeline, Jessica and Noah Kondic; step-son, Greg (Joanne) Bartow of Walnut Creek, CA; step-grandchildren, Ellen and Melissa Bartow and several cousins.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband Robert Buzz Bartow in 1974.
Mass of the Resurrection will be 10 am. Saturday at St. Mary Church, Port Huron. The Rev. Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Visiting hours are 6-8 pm. Friday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and from 9:30 am. until the service time Saturday at church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or Marwood Nursing and Rehab Building Fund.
