Barbara Ann MacNeil
May 10th, 1949 to December 25th, 2010
Barbara Ann (Raymond) MacNeil, 61, was taken from us suddenly Christmas Day.
She was born May 10, 1949 in Memphis. She married Calvin MacNeil on December 20, 1970 and just celebrated her 40 th wedding anniversary.
She was a graduate of Memphis High School in 1967. She continued her education at Port Huron Junior College. After her marriage, she and Calvin moved to California for 2 years and returned to Port Huron and lived and worked here since.
She loved to read and loved to travel. She took several trips including Las Vegas, Disneyland, Disney World as well as to Chicago and most recently, Gatlinburg, TN.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Calvin; her mother-in-law, Berdie MacNeil; her father Harry Raymond; sisters, Debbie (Harold) McLeod and Sylvia (Tony) Senkow; Nephews, Scott (Lisa) Stoops, Rob Stoops & Matt and Mike Senkow; great niece, Cassie Stoops; great nephews, Brandon and Jacob Stoops also many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be 11 am Thursday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Charles Dauphinais will officiate. Visiting hours are 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Humane Society or the St. Clair County Library.
