Jeanne M. Meier, 81, of Port Huron died July 31, 2011.
She was married to Marvin F. Meier for 44 years. He preceded her in death.
Jeanne volunteered at Mercy Hospital and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Jerry) LePoudre, sons Greg (Evelyn) Meier and James (Susan) Meier, daughters Sheila (Dan) Ward and Janet (James) Merideth-Webb; grandchildren Kathy, Aaron, Hayley, Sarah, Joseph, Hilary, Andrea, Clare; three great-grandchildren Dilan, Thomas, Danielle; and five brothers Charles (Nancy) Wyllie, Thomas (Geraldine) Wyllie, William (Carolyn) Wyllie, Paul (Roberta) Wyllie, Daniel (Patricia) Wyllie and numerous cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday, August 4, 2011 in St. Marys Catholic Church. The Rev. George Askar will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Croswell.
Visiting will be from 5-9 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and from 9:30 am till the time of service Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Bonaventure Capuchin Monastery, Detroit.
