Charles R "Bob" Tenniswood

Charles Robert "Bob" Tenniswood, 81, of Port Huron, died Friday, June 26, 2020.

He was born October 14, 1938 in Lynn Township to the late Charles and Eva Tenniswood. He married Yvonne Marie Corry on May 8, 1965 in St. Mary Catholic Church.

Bob served in the United States Marine Corps and received an associate's degree from St. Clair County Community College. He was employed for many years at Mapal Aero Carbide, retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He loved fishing, reading, and had a wide collection of hobbies.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Yvonne; children, Steven and Brenda Tenniswood, Christine and Michael Kovach and Rebecca Tenniswood; grandchildren, AnneMarie and Daniel Brinda, Katelyn Kovach and Emily and Matthew Tenniswood; and his canine companion, Ginger. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Funeral services were held at 11 :00 am on July 3, 2020 in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld officiated.

Inurnment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
