Mr. Keith D. Campbell

Keith D. Campbell, age 81, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in Port Huron Hospital.
Keith was born April 19, 1930 in Port Huron son of the late Harry and Aletha (Kivel) Campbell.
He married Dorothy P. Lynch on March 10, 1951 in St. Edward on-the- Lake Catholic Church.
Keith retired from Port Huron Paper Co as a machine operator and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He loved to carve, loved animals and watch the boats on Lake Huron.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy P. Campbell of Port Huron; son, Michael J. Campbell and Carol of Port Huron; son, Mark D. (Kelly) Campbell of Madison, WI; daughter, Elizabeth M. (Joe) Hunter of Port Huron; daughter Christine M. (Daniel) King of Greenwood Twp; son, Keith D. (Lisa) Campbell of Port Huron; grandchildren, Lisa, Michael II, Katherine, Karley, Shayne, Andrea, Joseph, Ryan, Alexander, Nicholas and Mazey; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Daniel, Michael III, David, Alexia, Kylie, Addisyn and Ryleigh; sister, Patricia (Glen) Wolfe of North Street; brother, Joe (Mary) Campbell of Tucson, AZ; brother, Jerry Campbell of North Street and sister, Pamela Richert of Port Huron
He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Funeral services are 10am Monday in St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery with military honors conducted under auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Visiting hours are 2-4 & 6-9 pm Sunday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 9am Monday at the church. A scripture service will be held at 7pm on Sunday evening.
Keith's grandchildren will serve as his pallbearers.
Memorials in memory of Keith may be given to St. Stephen Catholic Church or the St. Clair County Humane Society.
