Michael McFarlane

Michael Eugene McFarlane, 67, of Port Huron, died Saturday, August 1, 2020.

He was born February 14, 1953 in Port Huron to the late Eugene and Bernadine McFarlane. He married Cynthia Norris on March 10, 1973 in St. Stephen Catholic Church.

Michael was employed and then retired from Farmer Jack and later Aunt Millie’s Bread. He loved the outdoors, camping, traveling and sports, especially the Detroit Lions. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; children, Thearesa (Anthony) Simpson, Michael Lyn (Brandon) Taylor and Brian (Andrea) McFarlane; four grandchildren, Jordan and Ryan Day and Nolan and Lyla McFarlane; brothers, Shawn (Lynn) McFarlane and Pat (Gail) McFarlane; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jodi McFarlane.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church. The Reverend Lee Acervo will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice.
