Kathleen M Ferguson

Kathleen Margorie Ferguson, 71, left us for the next leg of her journey on Sunday, September 20, 2020. She departed from Detroit Receiving Hospital surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was born on November 13, 1948 in Sarnia, Ontario to her beloved mother, Norma Whybrew.

Kathie excelled at school before working at the Bell Telephone Company, attending college and eventually becoming a transactions analyst for Tri-County Bank. She loved quilting, decorating, collecting antiques and working in the yard, but her greatest love was caring for her family. Kathie enjoyed spending her days spoiling her children and grandchildren, for which she had endless patience, boundless love and was fiercely protective.

She is survived by her three children, Michael (Krista) Kennedy, Terry Wright and Shannon Grant; six beloved grandchildren, Amber (Kevin) Simon, Faye Wright, Elise Wright, Calvin Wright, Abigayle Grant and Lauren Samson; five great grandchildren, Paul Jackson, Trae Jackson, Aubree Wright, Devin Walls and Ryder Griffin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Norma Whybrew; and her grandparents, Merle and Marjorie O’Rourke.

Kathleen is much loved and will be deeply missed.

A virtual memorial will be held to celebrate Kathleen’s life with a date to be determined.
