Benjamin Frank Pauli, 87, of Port Huron, died Saturday, December 5, 2020.
He was born April 19, 1933 in Marine City to the late George and Lucille Pauli. He married Madonna Dudley on December 31, 1952 in Marine City. She died June 7, 2015.
Benjamin retired from Laborers Local 463. He had a love for horses and loved the Detroit Red Wings. He especially enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play sports. He had a huge heart, and was known as one of the hardest working men. He’ll be remembered as one of the good ones!
He is survived by his children, Ben (Diane) Pauli, Tom (Cathy) Pauli, Sherie Lyons, Lisa Burns, Ron Pauli, Angela (Terry) Worden and Steven Pauli (Raquel Nugent); 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Alma Vardakis, Clarese Pauli, Loretta (Nelson) Prange, Mildred (Mike) Closs and Beatrice Gubanche; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Pauli; sons-in-law, Mike Lyons and Mark Burns; granddaughter, Vanessa Lyons; sisters, Joyce Pauli and Annamary Sharrow; and brothers Charles and Wayne Pauli.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others. Private services for the family will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. Celebrant Laurie Wilson will officiate.
