Mary J Hill

Mary Joyce Hill, 78, of Port Huron, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

She was born December 11, 1942 in Yale to the late James and Helen Conroy. She married James Lee Hill on February 13, 1965 at St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church. He died March 7, 2019.

Mary was a 1961 graduate of Yale High

School. She was a Daily Care Provider for many years. Mary enjoyed playing bridge, golfing and spending time with her family. She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sons, James (Donna) Hill and Jeff (Amy) Hill; daughters, Julie (John) Malane and Jennifer (David) Losinski; 14 grandchildren; and siblings, Helen (Robert) Smith, Margaret (James) Rossow, Colleen (John) O’Connor, Patrick Conroy, Joseph Conroy and Theresa (Dave) Peltier. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Hill.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Lee Acervo will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be James Hill, Jeff Hill, Logan Hill, Lucas Hill, Gabriel Hill, Connor Malane, Keegan Malane, and Landon Malane.
