Catherine Kidd

Catherine Ann Kidd (O’Hara), 81. of Port Huron passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Marwood Manor after a long illness.

She was born November 3, 1939 in Port Huron to the late James and Julia O’Hara. She attended St. Stephen High School, and married Frederick C. Kidd on July 7, 1962 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Port Huron.

Cathy was an active member of her parish and a volunteer for the League of Catholic Women, the Quota Club, St. Vincent DePaul, Port Huron Hospital and the Port Huron Area School District. She was employed at Detroit Edison for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Scott) Murphree of Summerville, South Carolina and Lisa (Chris) White of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; four grandchildren, Chelsea Kidd-Edie, Fallon Murphree and Matthew and Timothy White; three sisters, Mickey (Bill) Dietz, Fran Master and Sheila (Mike) Gavin; and many nieces and nephews. Cathy was preceded in death in 2015 by her loving husband Frederick C. Kidd.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Friday, February 5, 2021 in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
