Margaret M Dusellier
Margaret M. Dusellier, 95, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, March 20, 2021.
She was born May 2, 1925 in Port Huron to the late Frank and Amelia Fleckenstein. She married Herman L. “Dutch” Dusellier on September 12, 1953 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1996.
Margaret was a 1943 graduate of St. Stephen High School. She was employed at Mueller Brass for about ten years and when her family was raised, she worked in the St. Clair County Community College Bookstore for five years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, life-member of Christian Mothers Society and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary.
She is survived by eight children, Sr. Judy Dusellier, D.C., David (Jane) Dusellier, Carolyn (Steve) Beach, Stephen (Rene) Dusellier, Barbara (Steve) Stoetzer, Richard Dusellier and William Goodrich, Joseph (Sue) Dusellier and Beth (Dale) Vos; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Sr. Elizabeth Fleckenstein, IHM; brother, Phillip Paul Fleckenstein; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Cornwell; brothers, Rev. Fr. Norbert, Rev. Fr. Charles, Frances W. and Thomas J. Fleckenstein.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the comfort and safety of others.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Bradley Forintos will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery. Margaret’s family members will serve as her pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Daughters of Charity or Sisters IHM.
