Our beloved mother, grandmother, and honey, Helen Marlene Lewandowski, 72, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 25, 2021 after battling COVID-19.
She was born April 1, 1948 in Port Huron to the late Leo and Elizabeth Anthony.
When you came over, mom always made you feel welcome. She was always cooking or baking enough to feed an army. She acted as a mom to all of the neighborhood kids and had the kindest soul. Family meant everything to mom. She loved getting together for dinners, shopping with her girls, and anything that involved her grandchildren. Our hearts are broken and our lives will never be the same.
She is survived by her honey of 30 years, Jeff Edwards; daughters, Angela Lewandowski and Missy (Wayne) Wiczorek; son, Mark (Jennifer) Lewandowski; adopted son, Brian (Gina) Zeroes; adopted daughter, Angela (Scott) Riddell; grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Surline, Alexandra Wiczorek, Kaitlyn and Aiden Lewandowski, Skylar Lewandowski, Adriana, Donovan and D’mitri Zeroes; two great grandsons, Eli Wargo and Weston Surline; brothers, Leo Anthony Jr and Norm (Pat) Forstner; special nephews, Billy Navarre, Leo Anthony III and Ron Forstner; many other nieces, nephews and cousins; former spouse and father of her children, Mark (Debbie) Lewandowski; and beloved dog, Gracie. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, JoAnn Navarre; grandson, Lukas; and two great granddaughters, Sadie and Paisley.
