Mary Jean Brown, 90, of Port Huron and Apex, North Carolina, died Friday, April 2, 2021.
She was born October 31, 1930 in Forest, Ontario to the late Gordon and Christena Levitt. She married Reginald P. Brown II on October 25, 1952 in Forest, Ontario. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1997 after 45 years of marriage.
Mary was a retired operating room Registered Nurse who worked in both Port Huron and Detroit. She was a longtime member of Grace Episcopal Church.
She is survived by three children, Reginald Brown III of Clearwater, Florida, Cynthia Ferns of Port Huron, and Pamela (Douglas) Geiger of Apex, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Reginald (Megan) Brown IV, Shannon (Brandon) Pung, Howard (Kim) Ferns, Amanda (Josh) Brandt, Angela Ferns, David Ameel, Eric (Blythe), Ashley and Carl Geiger; six great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Gail Brown of Watford, Ontario, Canada; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Christine Ameel; and her brother, Douglas Levitt of Sarnia, Ontario.
Private services will be held at the Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium. Deacon Linda Crane will officiate.
