Bernice Katz, 85, of Burtchville Township, died Thursday, April 8, 2021.
She was born July 15, 1935 in Avoca to the late Joseph and Victoria Daldine.
Bernice was a faithful, loving and hard-working wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved God and her family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and flower gardening. She was a very spry woman and fought cancer numerous times.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; four children, Eugene Butler, Kevin Woods, Glenda Smith and Carl Woods; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Victoria Northrop and Eunice Boudreau. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy; and her fifteen siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in The River Church, Fort Gratiot, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Bill Forbes will officiate.
