Gayle Patricia Hutchins, 80, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, April 18, 2021.
She was born March 17, 1941 to the late Ross and Rosemary McIntyre. She married Kenneth Hutchins on November 20, 1969 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2021.
Gayle retired from Commercial & Savings Bank. She previously ran the office at McIntyre Asphalt. She loved to go to garage sales, play bingo and gamble. She was the family historian and enjoyed shopping, traveling and going to Big Boy.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Kevin (Rhonda) Hutchins, Kent Howard (Sue) Hutchins and Shelly Hutchins (Shayne); special son-in-law, Buddy Cripps; nine grandchildren, Kevin (Courtney), Kristie, Derek and Nichole Hutchins, Brooke (Chris) Cripps, Natalie, Neve and Noah McNutt and Hailey Arnold-Moses; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Timothy (Pat) McIntyre. She was preceded in death by a son, James Arnold.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.
Private services for Gayle and Kenneth will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Dr. Joseph Baunoch will officiate. The livestream of the service may be viewed on Gayle or Kenneth’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot.
