William A Langolf
William Andrew Langolf, 91, of Port Huron Township, died Saturday, June 12, 2021.
He was born June 10, 1930 in Port Huron to the late Andrew and Mary Langolf. He married Helen L. Goodrich. She preceded him in death on September 19, 2005.
William served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at Morton Salt Company for 32 years. He loved woodworking, fishing and gardening and was a very righteous man.
He is survived by his son, Daniel (Catherine) Langolf; six grandchildren, Deleah Lasky, Daniel Kinney, Samantha Langolf, Daniel W.A. Langolf, Dylan Langolf and Amanda Langolf; five great grandchildren; sister, Mary Loxton; and brother, Charles Langolf. He was preceded in death by a son, William Langolf Jr.; two brothers, Wallace and Edward Langolf; and one sister, Catherine Roelens.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.
Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Army.
