Patricia Shoudy

Patricia A. Shoudy, 84, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 15, 2021 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital.

She was born July 3, 1937 in East Tawas to the late John L. and Julia M. Pardee. She married Dr. Elmore D. Shoudy on March 2, 1968 in Port Clinton, OH. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2009 after 41 years of marriage.

Patricia graduated in the first nursing class at Port Huron Junior College and worked for several years in her husband’s medical practice. She was a talented artist who loved to share her gifts by teaching others. She was an avid gardener, bridge player and was adored by all who knew her. She will be remembered by family and friends as a kind person who loved the Lord.

She is survived by six children, Linda (Hank) Thomas, David (Mary) Shoudy, Susan (Dave) Miller, Todd (Debbie) Shoudy, Tyler (Rose) Shoudy and Julia (Chris) Hessler; 21 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Diana (Gary) Goodrich and Gayle Solave; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Shoudy and Daniel Shoudy; and grandson, Gregory Shoudy.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 in Hillside Wesleyan Church. The Reverend Nathan Neihof will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patricia’s grandsons.
