Lyle McLane

Lyle R. McLane, 83, of Clyde, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 19, 2021 in Blue Water Hospice House after a short illness.

He was born June 25, 1938 to the late Allen and Gladys McLane. He married Patricia A. Parker on August 11, 1962.

Lyle served in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated Jensen-Townsend Printing Company, retiring after 42 years. He was a member and past secretary of the Blue Water Aerie # 3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles, lifetime member of B.P.O.E. Lodge #343, member of Sons of the American Legion Post #449 and Moose Lodge #158. He loved Keno, casinos, Budweiser, cutting his grass and most of all, his family.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly Anne (John E.) Bailey, proudest grandpa of Jacy Lee (Amanda Louise Clark), Jenna Lynn and Jordan Lindsay Bailey; his niece, neighbor and friend, Deborah Scheffler; several nieces and nephews; and many great friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Kimberly; brothers, Robert, Arnold and Lowell McLane; and sister, Wanda Curtis.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 in Karrer Simpson Funeral Home.

Private graveside services will be held in Lakeside Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
