Mary I Teller
Mary Irene Teller, formerly of Las Vegas, NV, died peacefully Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital, at the age of 91.
She was born in Romeo, MI on September 29, 1929 to the late Rene and Leontine (Michaels) VanEynde. She married Warren C. Teller on January 8, 1949 at St. Mary Mystical Rose Catholic Church in Armada. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2001 after 52 years of marriage.
Mary graduated as the Salutatorian of Armada High School Class of 1947 and was Lexington Cherry Queen in 1949. She retired as a secretary from the City of Las Vegas Court System. She enjoyed music and dancing with her friends. She also liked volunteering to help at bingo.
She is survived by her two children, Charles (Barbara) Teller of Burtchville and Karen (Ron) Motto of N. Mankato, MN; granddaughter, Jessica Hughes of St. Peter, MN; and great grandchildren, Madison, Tait, Ellie and Greyson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert VanEynde; and sister Norene Hanley.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
