Charles D. "Chuck" Middleton

Charles Dwayne “Chuck” Middleton, 61, of Port Huron Township, died Monday, October 11, 2021.

He was born March 18, 1960 in Fort Bragg, NC to Charles and Marilyn Middleton. He married Sheryl L. “Sherry” Mills on May 17, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV.

Chuck was a very dedicated employee of Dunn Paper for over 42 years. He loved playing baseball, golfing and bowling, having bowled two perfect 300 games. He was a member of Blue Water Aerie #3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles and B.P.O.E. Lodge #343. He was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Chuck was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sherry; son, Jeff (Stacey) Land; grandchildren, Tyler, Jesse and Tehya Land; mother, Marilyn Middleton; siblings, Robert (Dawn) Middleton, Brian Middleton (Angie), Becky Stoner and Timothy Middleton (Tracie); brother-in-law, Michael Mills; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Middleton; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Arlene Mills; sisters-in-law, Valerie Mills and Maxine Glombowski; and his canine companion, Odie.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Reverend Anthony Russell will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
