William R Navarre

August 3rd, 1961 to October 22nd, 2021
Obituary

William Robert “Billy” Navarre, gained his wings on Friday, October 22, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born August 3, 1961 to William and the late JoAnne (Anthony) Navarre. Billy proudly served his country for eight years in the United States Marine Corps.

Billy had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He cherished his family and friends. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fixing anything that had a motor, and spending time with family and friends. While our hearts are broken, we can find peace and comfort in knowing that Billy is no longer suffering.

Billy is survived by three daughters, Dani Jo, Shannon, and Autumn; eight grandchildren; uncle, Leo Anthony (who was like a brother to him); his longtime girlfriend, Treva; cousins, Angela and Mark Lewandowski, Missy Wiczorek, Tommy (Rema) Abdou and their children; along with many other cousins and extended family; father, William Navarre; sister, Deb Janderwski; and special friends, JoAnn and Tony LaFave, Tom Kipp and Todd Jacobs, among many others.

He was preceded in death by his mother JoAnn Anthony Navarre; aunt, Helen Lewandowski; grandparents, Leo and Elizabeth (Betty) Anthony, and Robert and Wilhemina Navarre.

Visitation will be held from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with a military service at 4:00 p.m. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Marine Corps and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
