James M Arnold

James Montgomery Arnold, 81, of Grant Township, died Sunday, October 31, 2021.

He was born June 9, 1940 in Port Huron to the late Joseph and Hannah Arnold. He married Jacqueline P. VanNorman on December 21, 1970 in Lexington Methodist Church.

James was employed with Domtar Paper for 30+ years as a foreman. He loved hunting, fishing and traveling to Ludington to camp. He was very passionate about life.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jacqueline; two sons, Kenneth (Rhonda) Hutchins and Kent (Sue) Hutchins; daughter-in-law, Barb Moses; grandchildren, Kevin (Courtney) Hutchins, Kristie Hutchins (Jim Binnall), Nikki Hutchins, Derek Hutchins and Hailey Arnold; and great grandchildren, Rileigh Hutchins, Daniel Coronado, Aarianna Hutchins, Teddy Binnall and Colton Hutchins. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Montgomery James Arnold; son James P. Arnold; and sister, Patience Kresin.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Pastor Don Derby will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot.
