Frances Kuschel

Frances Julia Kuschel, 93, of Port Huron, died Sunday, November 7, 2021.

She was born March 26, 1928 in Detroit to the late Leo and Julia Kuschel.

Frances graduated from St. Mary of Redford Catholic High School. She received her R.N. degree from Providence Nursing School. She was employed for many years at Henry Ford Hospital and retired from Port Huron Hospital. She was a member of St. Mary Church where she helped on the funeral luncheon committee. She loved shopping and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mike (Karen) Kuschel, Julie Miller, Paul (Helen) Kuschel, Joseph Nebel, Anne (Louie) Gmoser, Paul Nebel and Janie (Mark) Cooper; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Therese Nebel; and brother, Leo Kuschel.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.
