Berdie T MacNeil

Berdie T. MacNeil, 94, died Saturday, December 10, 2011 in her home. She was born August 21, 1917 in Heartland, MI.

Berdie worked as a crane operator at Mueller Brass from 1947-1955. She later worked at the Gaslight in the early 1970's. She enjoyed going to casinos.

She is survived by her daughter, Lil (John) Platzer of Port Huron; son, Calvin MacNeil of Port Huron; granddaughters Sheree (Garry) Hale of Ft. Gratiot, Kathy (Jerry) Turner of Clyde and Kim (Bill) Post of Tennessee; great grandson, Timothy (Aimee) Davis of Alaska, Kyle Turner and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Berdie was preceded in death by her husband, Neil MacNeil; daughter Jenny Welch and her siblings, Paul, Fred, Pearl and Lillian.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
