Steven Allen Smith, 71, of Port Huron Township, went to be with the Lord after a brief illness on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
He was born October 27, 1950 in Port Huron to the late Andrew and Helen Smith. He married Teri Nicholas on December 22, 2010 in Port Huron.
Steve graduated from Marysville High School in 1968. He loved his family most of all and had a love for flying his plane, riding motorcycles and driving his big trucks.
He is survived by his wife, Teri; his children, Steve (Laura) Smith, Jeff (Pam) Smith and Jen (Greg) Bartels; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Phyllis Nicholas; sister-in-law, Diane (Doug) Hill; brothers-in-law, Robert (Cheri) Nicholas, David Nicholas, Todd Nitzel and Mark Nitzel; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Donald (Alex) Thompson and Karen Baird.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Reverend Randy Bennett will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot. Pallbearers will be Christian Smith, Austin Brown, Greg Bartels, Kyle Bousley, Rob Nicholas and Doug Hill.
