Lewis Tingley

Lewis Allen Tingley, 80, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was born August 13, 1941 in Port Huron to the late Raymond Tingley and Margaret Howe. He married Elizabeth Miller on May 31, 1968 in Clawson. Mr. Tingley was employed with Kroger for 34 years. He was a member of St Joseph, Holy Trinity Parish Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards, and truly loved watching his grandchildren’s activities and sporting events. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth; three children, Jeffrey (Catherine) Tingley, Brian (Margaret) Tingley and Liz (Rob) Montgomery; ten grandchildren, Francisco and Nicole Navarro, Owen Tingley, Taylor and Ava Tingley, Jacob, Jordan and Julia Clark, and Tyler and Abby Montgomery; four siblings, Jeannie Porrett, Judy Brown, Karen (Richard) Faust and Sharon Simpson; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home followed by a scripture service at 6:00 p.m. Deacon Richard Klieman will officiate.
