William F. “Bill” Navarre, 79, of Port Huron, died Thursday, December 16, 2021.
He was born October 12, 1942 in Port Huron to the late Robert and Willamina (Billy) Navarre. He married the love of his life, JoAnn Anthony on March 13, 1961 in Port Huron.
Bill retired from Mueller Brass, after many years spent as the Vice President. He enjoyed riding his Harleys, camping, driving his corvette and spending time with family and friends.
He survived by his daughter, Deb Janderwski (fiancé Stacey Arscheene); his sister, Sandra Amey; four grandchildren, Amber, Dani, Autumn and Shannon; special cousin, Beverly Johnson; fur baby, Abby; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn; son-in-law, David Janderwski; and son, William Navarre.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Celebrant Laurie Wilson will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be Rob Booth, Ed Smerer, Stacey Arscheene, Dana Tatmen, Jim Olds and Ray Moss. Honorary pallbearers will be his “beloved two girls”, Deborah and Amber Janderwski.
Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
