Suzanne M Gray

Suzanne Mary Gray, 77, of Fort Gratiot, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born March 16, 1944 in Port Huron to the late Jeremiah “Jerry” and Elizabeth “Betty” Gardner.

Suzanne graduated in 1962 from Port Huron High School. She married the love of her life, Charles Gray, on October 24, 1964 in St. Martin Lutheran Church. Suzanne enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her two children; she was ever-loving and her family was most important to her. She enjoyed golfing, sewing, casino trips, girl’s day shopping trips, cooking and baking. When you speak of Suzanne you will smile and say what an amazing woman she was to all, she had many long-time friends. Her heart of gold and hugs would always warm your soul. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Charles; two children, Scott (Katie) Gray and Debbie Kimball; four grandchildren, Ryan (Caitlin) Gray, Alex (Jenni) Gray, Matthew (Kristen) Gray and Evan Kimball; six great grandchildren; brother, Dale Gardner (Helen Leverich); sisters, Sally (Dave) Sanderson and Linda Brennan; and many special nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bill Kinnan will officiate.
