Frank C Duenaz

Frank C. Duenaz, 70, of Kimball Township, died peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family following a short illness.

He was born July 18, 1951 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Frank and Ruby Duenaz. Frank married the love of his life, Karen Marie Smith on June 6, 1975 in Port Huron.

Frank was a man who loved his family above all else and will be remembered lovingly by all who knew him. As the owner of the Red Pepper III in Wadhams for the past 15 years, Frank knew and touched many lives.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen “Peach”; his son, Frank Duenaz III and his fiancé, Christy; a daughter, Dawn (Darren) Sumner; four grandchildren; sisters, Cathy (John) Lashbrook and Treasure (Chris) Lacey; brothers, Mike (Cathy), George, Bimbo (Kristi), Scott and Steve (Julie) Duenaz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom (Janice) Smith, Deb Martiny, Pam (Glenn) Elliott and Rick Brast; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby, Rick and Frankie; brother-in-law, Bobby; his uncle Felix; grandson, Christopher; and his two four-legged companions, Buffy Lynn and Little Buff.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
