Kenneth Roger Watson, 89, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, March 14, 2022.

He was born October 3, 1932 in Port Huron to the late George and Mary Watson.

Kenneth was a 1950 graduate of St. Stephen High School. He served in the United States Army. He was employed with G.M. Corporation as a Tool and Die Maker for many years before his retirement. He was a quintessential idea man. For him, one project was never enough. He had an endless list of things to do or make, right up to his last day.

He is survived by 7 children, Ken (Christine) Watson Jr., Gerard (Debra) Watson, Paul Watson, Monica Watson, Mary Watson Sugrue, Julianne (Steve) McCalmon and Stacie Badley; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded by his wives, Mary Lou Watson and Audrey M. Watson; daughter, Linda Watson; four brothers; and three sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Joseph Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Parish St. Joseph Catholic Church.
